Amy Sherman is the President of the Northwest Douglas County EDC, and organization she helped create in November 2011.  The Northwest Douglas County EDC covers Roxborough, Sterling Ranch, Santa Fe Corridor and Highlands Ranch.  The organization is focused on infrastructure improvements, publick polich and marketin gof the region as a premier place to locate or exapnd a business.


Amy currently serves as the Chair of the Douglas County Energy Coalition and the Douglas County Business Alliance.  Any also serves on the Board of Directors of Douglas County Community Foundation, Highlands Ranch Chamber of Commerce and Roxborough Business Association.  Amy is active with Catapult colorado and ONE Roxborough.  Amy was one of Denver Business Journal's 40 under 40 winners in 2012, selected as Rookie of the Year from the Economic Development Council of Colorado in 2013, and was honored as one of the "Top Women in Energy" by the Denver Business Journal in 2015.


She is the Past President of the Colorado Chamber of Commerce Executives and served on the Board of the Colorado Association of Commerce & Industry.  She served on the Executive Committee of the Western Association of Chamber Executives based in California and has served on several community and business boards.


Amy has a BS degree in Communications and Psychology from the University of Kansas and is a graduate of the Institute for Organizational Management at Colorado College.
